Job Description:
The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Management team and related technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and coordinate cross-functional IT project activities.
Schedule project meetings and prepare/distribute meeting minutes.
Monitor project documentation, deliverables, schedules, and follow-ups.
Work with Project Managers and business teams to document project scope and high-level requirements.
Assist with requirements gathering, design discussions, application development, testing, training, and rollout activities.
Maintain project status, resource forecasts, and reporting tools.
Prepare status reports, project communications, PowerPoint presentations, and project schedules.
Maintain RAID logs – Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions.
Communicate project status and upcoming activities to customers and stakeholders.
Support customer expectations, lessons learned, and retrospective activities.
Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
3+ years of recent, verifiable, relevant project management experience.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with Asana.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical teams.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing large-scale programs.
Experience implementing business processes within a government organization.
PMP or CAPM certification.
Workday ERP experience is a plus.
