Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) – CTH (6 Months)
Location: Las Colinas, TX (Hybrid – Tue & Thu onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Rate: Negotiable Required Skills:
5+ years of hands-on Azure Cloud Engineering experience
Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, Security, IAM, AKS, Containers, and Serverless services
3+ years of experience with Terraform and Azure Bicep
Automation using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI
CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
Azure Security tools: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, RBAC, Azure Policy
Experience with AKS, Docker, Azure Container Apps
Hybrid networking: ExpressRoute, VPN, DNS, Private Endpoints
Monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and KQL
Knowledge of compliance frameworks: PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, SOC2
Certifications (Required):
AZ-104 – Azure Administrator Associate
AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support secure, scalable Azure infrastructure
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions
Support cloud-native and hybrid workloads
Ensure compliance, security, backup, and disaster recovery readiness
Mentor junior engineers and drive cloud modernization initiatives
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
