Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, automation, and AI-enabled operations. The ideal candidate will leverage software engineering, cloud-native technologies, and Generative AI to improve platform reliability, automate operational workflows, and build scalable, highly available infrastructure supporting enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation tools using Java, Python, and Node.js to improve operational efficiency and platform scalability. Leverage Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including Gemini, Llama, Mistral, and Qwen, to automate alert analysis, incident response, runbook execution, and operational workflows. Develop and implement reliability solutions for APIs and microservices using Apigee/Apigee X, REST APIs, GraphQL, traffic routing, canary deployments, and failover strategies. Administer, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes environments across Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Rancher RKE2 clusters. Support multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and active-active deployments. Build and maintain cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform, Helm, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. Develop observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions using Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, and AppDynamics. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and implement performance optimization strategies. Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices, including Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), incident management, and operational excellence. Collaborate with engineering, platform, security, and operations teams to improve reliability, scalability, and system resilience. Participate in root cause analysis, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and automation playbooks. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. 5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes environments, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Rancher RKE2. Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster administration, troubleshooting, multi-cluster management, and performance optimization. Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Helm, GitHub, and CI/CD automation. 5+ years of programming experience using Python and Java. Experience with Node.js for automation and integration workflows. Strong experience implementing API and microservices solutions using Apigee/Apigee X, REST APIs, and GraphQL. Experience implementing traffic routing, canary deployments, failover strategies, and high-availability architectures. Strong experience with observability and monitoring tools, including Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, and AppDynamics. Experience implementing SRE practices, including incident management, SLOs, SLIs, reliability engineering, and operational excellence. Experience applying AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including Gemini, Llama, Mistral, Qwen, or similar technologies, to automate operations and incident response. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing AIOps solutions for enterprise environments. Experience supporting large-scale cloud-native, distributed systems. Experience building enterprise automation platforms and self-healing infrastructure. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security principles. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. Education: Bachelors Degree
