Summary

Senior Pricing Actuary (U.S. Personal Lines Insurance)

Remote

Role Overview:

Lead pricing strategy, rate indications, and portfolio profitability assessments
Provide actuarial leadership on GLMs, predictive modeling, and advanced pricing analytics
Support U.S. regulatory filings and actuarial governance activities
Partner with underwriting, product, finance, IT, and data science leadership teams
Drive modernization initiatives related to pricing architecture and rating platforms

Key Requirements:

15+ years of U.S. P&C actuarial experience with strong pricing background
FCAS strongly preferred (ACAS with significant experience may be considered)
Deep expertise in Personal Auto and/or Homeowners pricing
Strong experience with GLMs, predictive modeling, and pricing strategy
Exposure to complex regulatory environments including California and Florida filings
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Important Resume Indicators:

Pricing modernization / “Bridge” experience:
- Led implementation of pricing engines
- Worked with IT teams on real-time rating deployment
- Experience deploying actuarial models into production systems
Regulatory breadth:
- California filings
- Florida property pricing
- Multi-state regulatory experience
Modern technical stack:
- Python and/or R
- Understanding of production deployment environments
- Exposure to pricing architecture, APIs, and integrations

Preferred Exposure:

Earnix / Radar
Pricing architecture modernization
API integrations and real-time rating ecosystems
