Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid)

We are looking for candidate with Minimum 8+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Vulnerability Response (VR)

• Design and develop ServiceNow VR workflows, including vulnerability ingestion, deduplication, prioritization, and remediation tracking
• Integrate VR with external vulnerability management data and tooling
• Build and maintain VR dashboards, reports, and SLA configurations aligned to clients risk appetite and regulatory requirements
• Configure CI/asset attribution logic and vulnerability group rules to ensure accurate ownership assignment
• Develop automated exception and risk acceptance workflows with appropriate approval chains

Security Incident Response (SIR)

• Develop and maintain SIR playbooks, automated response workflows, and escalation logic for security events
• Integrate SIR with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar) and threat intelligence feeds
• Build observable enrichment pipelines and automated containment/remediation actions using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
• Configure SIR case management, evidence tracking, and post-incident review workflows
• Develop metrics and KPI dashboards for SOC leadership and executive reporting

Platform & General Development

• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript (client scripts, business rules, script includes) and leverage Glide APIs following ServiceNow best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with the SecOps product team
• Conduct peer code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and support knowledge transfer to junior team members
• Manage platform upgrades, patch testing, and regression validation for SecOps applications
• Collaborate with clients ServiceNow Technical Architecture Review Board to ensure architectural alignment and governance compliance
• Support audit and compliance activities, including evidence collection and control documentation for external and internal frameworks
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes within defined SLAs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Minimum 2+ years of dedicated ServiceNow SecOps development experience hands-on proficiency in both VR and SIR modules is required
• Experience working within enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments (10,000+ users)
• Strong JavaScript development skills within the ServiceNow platform (business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI actions, UI policies)
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP API integrations
• Proficiency with ServiceNow CMDB, Asset Management, and CI relationship mapping as they relate to SecOps workflows
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CVE/CVSS scoring, OWASP)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
