Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Applications Support II to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and support of software solutions. This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balance between office-based and remote work, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications and components tailored to the company's requirements.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members, including software developers and project managers, to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in code reviews, maintain standard coding practices, and participate in setting application coding standards.
  • Document all work appropriately, including coding and design activities, and ensure that all documentation meets company compliance standards.
  • Assess third-party and open-source software to ensure they meet the security standards of the company.
  • Regularly update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (0-3 years) in software development with a strong understanding of Microsoft .NET Core.
  • Experience with Git and other version control systems.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in full stack development, including but not limited to C#, SQL, Angular, Python, and Ruby.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex software issues.
  • Knowledge of cloud application development on Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new tools and technologies and a strong commitment to continuous personal and professional development.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $51.00 Hourly
