Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter to simulate realistic workloads and evaluate application behavior under varying user loads and transaction volumes.

Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing for online applications and batch processes, validating response times, throughput, resource utilization, and system stability.

Use JProfiler and other diagnostic tools to investigate performance bottlenecks, analyze application behavior, and provide findings that support root-cause analysis and optimization.

Analyze test results, document performance issues, collaborate with technical teams on remediation, and prepare test completion reports summarizing execution results, observed bottlenecks, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience in performance testing, load testing, stress testing, test scripting, execution analysis, and performance reporting. Specific years of experience are not specified.

Technical Skills:

Apache JMeter, JProfiler, Postman, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Test Scripting, Performance Monitoring, Bottleneck Analysis, Test Reporting

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience validating application performance, scalability, stability, and reliability across online transaction processing and batch-processing environments.

Experience evaluating application behavior under varying workloads, identifying performance risks, and supporting service-level and operational performance objectives.

Experience validating business rules, application workflows, interfaces, data, batch processes, and end-to-end transactions through functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

Experience collaborating with development, application support, and infrastructure teams to investigate performance issues, communicate findings, and support resolution and continuous improvement.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using JMeter to develop performance test scenarios, configure workloads, and analyze execution results.

Familiarity with JProfiler for application profiling and Postman for API testing and validation.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and present actionable recommendations.
