Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Business Analyst - Transaction Banking (Phase 2 USCM Delivery) for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in NYC, NY or Dallas, TX.

The Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Operations team is entering Phase 2 of the USCM Delivery program, a multi-stage initiative critical to the bank's success. The Business Analyst will help ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex operational and system changes across a cross-geographical transaction banking environment. All activities must adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities :
  • Foster a customer-focused culture across the team to help deepen client relationships and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Manage and contribute to complex, multi-faceted projects and system implementations supporting global transaction banking needs. Responsibilities include:
    • Preparing and managing detailed action/project plans
    • Conducting research and analysis to inform current-state evaluation and best practices
    • Participating in system training and developing training programs for Operations users
    • Defining test plans and creating test cases to support Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing
    • Capturing and documenting business requirements across multiple workstreams
    • Acting as an SME where applicable
    • Liaising with users, vendors, and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Develop in-depth understanding of transaction banking products and operating models to document detailed future-state structures and processes, including:
    • Policies, procedures, knowledge libraries, and job aids
    • Comprehensive metrics and performance measurement tools
  • Support the design or reengineering of business processes and tools to reduce operational risk, streamline workflows, and improve cost efficiency.
  • Provide strong professional service and communication across internal and external partners to deliver milestones on time or ahead of schedule.
  • Apply the bank's risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance, AML/ATF, and Conduct Risk frameworks.
Required Skills:
  • 3-6 years as a Business Analyst in Transaction Products, with deep knowledge of Corporate/Commercial Deposits, back-office processes, interfaces, and risk management techniques.
  • 2+ years of UAT experience.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and process-management tools.
  • 3+ years with business analysis tools/methodologies such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • 3+ years working with project-management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Skills:
  • Business Analysis certification
  • Consultancy or FinTech background
