Android Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid/Onsite as per client need)

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in the BFSI domain to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building secure, scalable mobile applications and a solid understanding of financial systems, compliance, and data security standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin/Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Backend) to deliver robust mobile solutions
• Implement secure coding practices aligned with BFSI compliance standards
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and banking/payment gateways
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
• Work on app modernization and migration (if applicable)
• Follow Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices

• 8+ years of experience in Android application development
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack components
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of MVVM/MVP architecture patterns
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Solid understanding of mobile security best practices (encryption, authentication, secure storage)
• Experience with performance optimization and memory management
• Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics tools

• Prior experience in BFSI domain (Banking, Payments, Insurance, FinTech)
• Understanding of:
  • Secure transactions and payment integrations
  • Regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR basics)
  • Authentication mechanisms (OAuth, biometrics, MFA)

• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
