Summary
Hansen Talent Group is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to support the daily operations and expansion of a large enterprise Cloud environment. This role is offering hybrid flexible work schedules and the opportunity to support and optimize enterprise cloud strategy and infrastructure.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing a hybrid cloud environment, overseeing strategy development, optimization initiatives, and daily operations. Projects include platform migrations and tool integrations, security implementations, and automation development.

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing a hybrid cloud environment, overseeing strategy development, optimization initiatives, and daily operations. Projects include platform migrations and tool integrations, security implementations, and automation development.
Duties:
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure working with AWS and Azure platforms. Additionally, support the migration of on-prem environments to the cloud and implementation of IaC.
- Manage infrastructure builds and administration using tools and technology including Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Monitor platform performance, tracking operational logs and system health to minimize down time.
- Support automation using Python, Ansible, BASH, and PowerShell
- Support CI/CD efforts working with Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Git, and Jenkins.
- Integrate security tools and support security/penetration testing initiatives, optimizing data security.
- Manage projects, leading strategy development and delivery of cloud solutions. Provide updates and recommendations to leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Create system documentation to support audit readiness
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience working in DevOps and Cloud Engineer roles supporting AWS and Azure environments
- Working experience in enterprise, hybrid cloud environments
- Hands-on Terraform experience
