Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. This role will play a key part in migrating data workflows from Alteryx to Google Cloud Platform-based tools, while ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
Migrate legacy/on-prem solutions (Alteryx) to Google Cloud Platform-based cloud environments
Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency
Develop scripts, automation, and data processing solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and proper documentation

Required Skills:

7+ years of Data Engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, etc.)
Expertise in ETL, data pipelines, and data modeling
Experience working with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop – nice to have)
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures
Proven experience with cloud migration projects (Alteryx preferred)
Experience working in Agile/TDD environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree
Experience building production-grade data platforms
Strong understanding of data architecture and analytics tools
Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Additional Information:

This role focuses on modernizing data platforms and migrating from Alteryx to Google Cloud Platform
Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
