About the role
Solugenix is supporting a hybrid opportunity in Irvine, CA focused on enterprise workload automation (AutoSys administration), AWS cloud operations, and containerized infrastructure. Looking for experience administering and managing Autosys environment such as configuration, access/security, agents, upgrades, platform troubleshooting, and overall scheduler administration or understand architecture of Autosys in an AWS environment and have experience installing and configuring an Autosys agent on EC2 or Kubernetes (EKS). You will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to support automation, monitoring, incident resolution, and cloud-based infrastructure initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Autosys administration.
- Experience creating, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scheduled jobs in production environments.
- Strong understanding of job dependencies, batch cycles, workflow automation, and production support.
- Experience with Kubernetes to support and troubleshoot Autosys job execution in cloud-based, containerized environments.
- Solid experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Knowledge of automation, monitoring, incident management, system reliability, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/SRE practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and enhance Autosys job scheduling and batch processing environments.
- Define and maintain job dependencies, conditions, schedules, and workflow automation.
- Support batch job cycles based on business and operational requirements.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of scheduled jobs.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution.
- Support server upgrades, patching activities, and post-maintenance validation.
- Manage user access, security roles, and permission reviews in alignment with access management policies.
- Work with Kubernetes-based environments to support and troubleshoot job execution in cloud/containerized platforms.
- Partner with development and operations teams to improve application reliability and performance.
- Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD and release automation improvements.
- Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution as needed.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $80/hour to $90/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
