Role Overview

  • Role overview: The role is to redesign and modernize the consumer division's Lead to Order process, moving them from a fully manual system to an integrated technology platform using Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, and Five9 call center services. The person will serve as an Enterprise Architect who can think systems end-to-end, coordinate across multiple technology platforms, and help the business unit transition from manual, intensely manual processes to a more efficient, technology-enabled workflow.

Role Responsibilities

  • Key responsibilities: Design and implement the end-to-end Lead to Order process architecture; coordinate system integration between Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, and Five9 call center; manage the seminar market workflow including event management, venue management, restaurant bookings, and capacity management; help the business unit transition from manual processes to technology-enabled workflows; facilitate communication and alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Scope of work: Redefining the entire Lead to Order process for the consumer division, which includes lead generation through marketing, lead nurturing, lead movement through the system, and sales execution across multiple channels. The role encompasses managing 40,000 seminars per year with associated event logistics and complexity.
  • Key stakeholders: Technology team, product organization (SVP of Product), consumer business unit, digital marketing team, sales team, seminar sales team, finance/financial systems team.

Team Overview

  • Team size: [Not discussed]
  • Team structure: The role sits within the technology organization and will work across the consumer division, which includes the technology team, product organization, digital marketing team, sales team, and seminar sales team. The hiring manager leads the technology team and is currently the only person who can think systems end-to-end across the Lead to Order process.
  • Team goals: Modernizing the consumer division's Lead to Order process by implementing integrated technology platforms (Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, Five9) and moving the business from manual, intensely manual processes to technology-enabled workflows.

Role Selling Points

  • High-impact strategic initiative: The role directly influences a significant portion of the company's business, with visibility at the CEO level due to the importance of the Lead to Order workflow.
  • Complex, end-to-end system architecture challenge: Opportunity to design and implement integration across multiple enterprise platforms (Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, Five9) and manage sophisticated event logistics for 40,000 seminars annually.
  • Transformational change leadership: Helping a proud, successful business unit transition from entirely manual processes to modern, technology-enabled workflows.
  • Cross-functional influence: Working across technology, product, marketing, sales, and executive leadership to drive organizational change. Role challenges:

  • Niche expertise requirement: The role requires a rare combination of enterprise architecture skills with specific Lead to Order process knowledge, making candidate sourcing challenging.
