PACS Administrator (Administrator II/III) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - onsite as needed)

OverviewOur healthcare provider client in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced
PACS Administrator to support and enhance their enterprise imaging environment. This role will offer the opportunity to step into a highly collaborative imaging team supporting a large, modernized healthcare system.
The hiring manager is open to Level II and III PACS professionals. Candidates must be within driving distance of Charlotte, NC, for periodic onsite work involving break/fix support or major updates.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and support Atrium Health's PACS environment, primarily Philips IntelliSpace.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for radiology imaging systems and related 3rd-party clinical applications.
- Partner with radiologists, technologists, and clinical/IT teams to ensure system uptime, workflow efficiency, and image availability.
- Perform system updates, configurations, integrations, and enhancements to support clinical operations.
- Support modality connectivity, DICOM workflows, and system performance optimization.
- Assist with on-call rotation and periodic onsite break/fix tasks.
- Collaborate on long-term imaging strategy, system upgrades, and ongoing project initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience- 2+ years of PACS administration experience, ideally with Philips IntelliSpace.
- Strong understanding of DICOM, modality workflows, and radiology department operations.
- Experience supporting 3rd-party radiology applications (e.g., voice recognition systems, specialty imaging tools, etc.).
- strong troubleshooting skills across imaging systems, servers, and interfaces.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional IT and clinical teams in a high-demand environment.
- Must reside within driving distance of Charlotte, NC, for onsite support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications- Epic Radiant or broader Epic EHR knowledge (highly preferred).
- Experienced candidates with 5+ years of enterprise imaging experience.
- Experience with enterprise imaging migrations, integrations, or optimization projects.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $117000.00/yr.
