Summary:

The Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging plans, organizes, and supervises the day-to-day operational activities within the assigned areas of Diagnostic Radiology.

Responsibilities:
1.\tAdds value as a key member of management; understands the business, financials, industry, customers and strategy.

2.\tSupervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations.

3.\tPrepares, manages, and adheres to department budget to maintain expenditure controls.

4.\tPlans, organizes, and supervises the day-to-day operational activities including staffing/scheduling, training, competency evaluation, and technical assistance/oversight, supply/equip procurement, budget, staff relations, equipment oversight/maintenance, quality control/assurance and PI activities within the assigned areas of Diagnostic Radiology in conjunction with the Radiology Administrative Director and Radiology Medical Director.

5.\tProvides effective, professional leadership to senior technologists, nurses, and/or staff.

6.\tRepresents and/or coordinates activities of assigned areas within the department, hospital, and outside agencies and organizations.

7.\tMaintains all ODH regulatory/JCAHO, and standards of performance and professional conduct.

8.\tOther duties as required.

Other information:
Technical Expertise
1.\tExperience working with all levels within an organization is required.

2.\tExperience in healthcare is preferred.

3.\tProficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

Education and Experience
1.\tEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelors\' degree is preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.

2.\tCertification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Licensed by the State of Ohio as a radiographer is required. BLS certification is required.

3.\tYears of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.

4.\tYears of experience supervising: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
