Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- 3-4+ years of cathodic protection engineering experience
- Active AMPP/NACE CP3 Certification required
- Experience with ICCP system design, calculations, troubleshooting, and technical consultation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
Job Duties
- Provide technical guidance and consultation on impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) system designs
- Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
- Support customers and internal teams with troubleshooting, CP data interpretation, and technical inquiries
- Assist sales and quoting teams throughout the bidding and proposal process
- Develop engineering calculations, product recommendations, and technical documentation
- Support product development, testing, validation, and R&D initiatives
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, and global teams to improve products and processes
- Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, and industry trade shows
- Stay current on AMPP/NACE standards, corrosion prevention technologies, and industry best practices
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
- Ability to work in office, laboratory, manufacturing, and field environments
- Capable of conducting site visits and technical evaluations as required
