Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Retail Merchandising and Space Planning Specialist to work onsite with our client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in retail operations, RMS application knowledge, and hands-on experience in floor planning and planogram development. The role requires close collaboration with offshore teams and cross‑functional client stakeholders to deliver high‑quality merchandising and space‑planning outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with onsite business teams to understand merchandising, space planning, and store layout requirements.
- Create and manage floor plans, macro/micro space plans, and planograms based on merchandising strategies.
- Analyze store layout designs, fixture standards, and display requirements to optimize space utilization.
- Collaborate with the offshore team for daily work handover and ensure seamless coordination during overlapping hours.
- Use SQL extensively for data extraction, validation, analysis, and generating insights for merchandising decisions.
- Work with ETL pipelines to understand retail data flows and ensure accurate data integration for merchandising activities.
- Utilize RMS (Retail Merchandising System) for item management, inventory workflows, and merchandising processes.
- Provide actionable analytical insights to improve product placement, store performance, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality expectations and project timelines.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies effectively with client stakeholders.
