Duration: 07 months contract with a possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $65/hr $70/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our substation construction projects. This role requires full project lifecycle ownership, from planning and scheduling to execution and reporting. The ideal candidate has strong experience in engineering or construction project management, with expertise in high-voltage substations and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and present all project schedules using Primavera P6
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and up-to-date schedules.
• Promote schedules as actionable management tools, not just documentation.
• Review schedule logic and assist teams in identifying and correcting errors.
• Perform detailed time impact analysis in coordination with Project Managers.
• Support schedule-based information for official correspondence and change order management.
• Integrate delays and change orders into project schedules accurately.
• Generate monthly schedule reporting metrics.
• Coordinate across departments including sales, procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Review project contracts for milestones and ensure they are accurately reflected in schedules.
• Document project events impacting schedule, scope, and overall project efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 10 years of experience in engineering or construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of EPC project delivery methods and all project management control systems (scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement).
• Expertise with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, analytical, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, decisive, and adaptable with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-voltage substation projects.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.

The role will be hybrid- 3 days week in office/onsite.
