RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Senior Engineer, operating at the Principal or Director level, to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This critical role requires deep technical expertise coupled with exceptional communication and product-facing skills to drive development across our core real estate technology platforms. This is a highly visible, product-facing role requiring strong leadership and collaboration.
Duties:
* Act as the key engineering liaison, driving alignment and execution between Product Management, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders
* Define and drive the technical roadmap, architecture, and engineering practices for key components within the platform suite
* Champion the efficient and ethical use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to increase engineering velocity, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain high code quality standards
* Identify and implement automation opportunities across the development lifecycle
* Depending on the final level (Principal or Director), this role may involve hands-on coding, high-level architectural design, and potentially technical mentorship for other engineers
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
* Exceptional Communication: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (Product, Engineering, Business)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
