PREMIUM SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience developing cloud-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, APIs, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications while driving best practices in architecture, CI/CD, security, and Agile development.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications.
Build scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular.
Design software architecture and recommend technology solutions.
Manage and optimize Google Cloud Platform environments and deployment strategies.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including Tekton.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure quality delivery.
Monitor application performance, reliability, and security.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and development practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
6+ years of full-stack software development experience.
Strong experience with:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Angular
- REST APIs / Microservices
- PostgreSQL & SQL
- Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Experience managing Google Cloud Platform environments and Tekton pipelines.
Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD practices.
Experience with Jira, Rally, or similar Agile project management tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and testing skills.
Ability to independently understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Automation testing experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
Experience with FOSSA, Cycode, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and LLMs.
Prior Ford experience and familiarity with Ford IT security standards.
Exposure to COBOL, JCL, or Mainframe environments.

Additional Information

Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite in Dearborn, 1 day remote.
Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
