Summary

Varmoda is seeking a Salesforce & GTM Systems Manager to own the roadmap, architecture, administration, and continuous improvement of the technology ecosystem supporting its revenue operations. This hands-on role will lead Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ while ensuring Salesloft, ZoomInfo, NetSuite, Microsoft 365, Slack, and related integrations operate as one connected system.
The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce administration and solution architecture expertise with a practical understanding of quote-to-cash operations, revenue processes, channel sales, system integration, data governance, and user enablement.

Key Responsibilities
GTM Systems Strategy and Roadmap

  • Own the GTM technology ecosystem, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, NetSuite, Microsoft 365, Slack, and related tools.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized systems roadmap aligned with measurable business outcomes.
  • Improve quote turnaround, order-management handoffs, forecast accuracy, data quality, and platform adoption.
  • Translate requests from Sales, Partner Management, Contracts, Marketing, and Finance into requirements, business cases, and delivery plans.
  • Evaluate AI, automation, and emerging GTM technologies and recommend tools to adopt, consolidate, improve, or retire.
Salesforce and CPQ Ownership
  • Serve as the primary Salesforce Administrator and Solution Architect.
  • Configure and maintain users, profiles, permission sets, Flows, validation rules, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.
  • Own the Salesforce data model for supplier, partner, reseller, government buyer, contact, and opportunity records.
  • Administer Salesforce CPQ, including:
    • Product catalogs and bundles
    • Pricebooks and supplier price lists
    • Contract-vehicle pricing rules
    • Discount and approval workflows
    • Quote templates
    • Renewals
  • Support deal registration, partner attribution, channel-sales processes, and opportunity workflows.
  • Manage sandbox-first release processes covering design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and communication.
Integrations and Quote-to-Cash
  • Own the Salesforce-to-NetSuite integration supporting accurate conversion of opportunities and quotes into orders and invoices.
  • Monitor integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and other connected systems.
  • Troubleshoot synchronization failures, data mismatches, integration errors, and transaction-processing issues.
  • Partner with Finance and Contracts to ensure pricing, contract, order, and customer data remain aligned across systems of record.
  • Improve quote-to-cash automation and reduce manual data entry and rekeying.
Data, Reporting, and Governance
  • Maintain reliable reporting for pipeline, bookings, forecasting, supplier performance, and revenue operations.
  • Manage recurring data-quality activities, including deduplication, enrichment, required-field enforcement, and account-hierarchy cleanup.
  • Establish access controls protecting sensitive supplier, partner, pricing, and contract information.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for Salesforce configuration, integrations, permissions, and business processes.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide leadership with accurate operational insights.
Enablement and Support
  • Manage intake, prioritization, and triage of GTM system requests.
  • Distinguish system defects from training needs, process gaps, and enhancement requests.
  • Create user guides, process documentation, release communications, and training materials.
  • Lead change management for new platforms, features, integrations, and workflows.
  • Coordinate requirements, user acceptance testing, launch activities, adoption, and post-implementation follow-up.
  • Provide hands-on platform support while leading larger initiatives from discovery through delivery.
Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of APIs, JSON, middleware, and enterprise integration concepts.
  • Experience leading systems projects through requirements, design, testing, deployment, training, and adoption.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to balance urgent operational requests against strategic roadmap priorities.
  • Ability to appropriately manage confidential commercial information.
