Job#: 3017790 Job Description: This role is for someone who enjoys building the connective tissue between raw data and real-world decision making.
You'll be joining a team that is modernizing how large, diverse data sets are collected, transformed, and made usable by downstream teams such as analytics, reporting, and advanced modeling. The work is hands-on and technical, but success is measured by reliability, scalability, and clarity, not just code output.
What the work actually looks like
- Designing data flows that move information from source systems into analytical environments
- Improving performance and stability of existing pipelines that support multiple internal consumers
- Working closely with engineers and data users to understand how data is actually used
- Helping teams move away from manual or brittle data processes
- Supporting deployments and changes in environments where stability matters
This is not a research role and not a pure BI role. It's for someone who likes owning data movement end-to-end and making things work consistently at scale.
Background that tends to fit well
- Several years working in data engineering or backend data roles
- Comfortable working with large datasets and production systems
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud-hosted data environments
- Experience operating in regulated or highly controlled environments is helpful, but not required
