Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner - Remote position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $90.00 - 95.00 per hour, W2 This role is responsible for understanding and considering both business and technical needs to ensure the delivery of quality digital products and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, perform data analysis, and translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities: - Understand and consider both business and technical engineering/IT needs to ensure quality digital products and related operational workflows
- Perform cost, benefit, and risk analysis associated with proposed products/services and recommend alternatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate, and document business and system requirements
- Perform data analysis, define and document business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and user experience requirements
- Assist product and operations leaders in coordinating the deployment of deliverables
- Provide input for the development of product documents, project charters, and plans
- Apply systems engineering methodologies throughout the product and project lifecycle
- Research, analyze, and validate complete and accurate business and systems requirements
- Establish scope boundaries for products and technical requirements
- Plan and monitor work scope estimates and schedules
- Assess and define problems through root cause analysis and proactively propose solutions
- Interpret vended solution architecture and translate it into technical specifications for integration
- Help define product implementation change management requirements
- Lead teams in a Product Owner capacity
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree (business, Computer Science, engineering, technology, health care) AND 3 years of relevant technical experience OR 7 years of relevant technical experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a Product Owner (or similar) role
- Experience developing mobile app and/or web products
- Experience working with a Scrum team in an Agile environment
- Working knowledge of product development architecture
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
- Ability to prioritize effectively and mitigate roadblocks to achieve sprint/release goals
- Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting needs of stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner within 1 year of starting
Desired skills: - Experience in Healthcare
- Healthcare and EPIC API expertise
