CompQsoft is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at Fort Meade, MD for DISA program.
Job Description:
The contractor shall provide administrative coordination and support to the divisions configuration management/change management (CM) process. The contractor will identify that the most current configuration baseline has been tested and approved, so that the Programs Offices can make the changes to the systems. The contractor will ensure that the baseline configurations are modified to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements and organizational goals for IE. The contractor shall support the necessary Change Advisory Board, Configuration Control Board (CCB) Engineering Review Board, Request for Change (RFC), Engineering Change Request and Field Change Request, update required documentation, and develop required artifacts.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Leads major portions of large or medium projects, and leads small projects autonomously.
• Gathers facts through research, interviewing, surveys, etc. analyzes the client’s business, draws conclusions, prepares final reports and gives presentations.
• Uses in-depth consultative skills and business knowledge to practice business objectives and processes.
Education/Experience: BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or Higher (TS Preferred)
