The Business Analyst will be required to develop and maintain the following deliverables:
? Business Requirements Document (BRD): Comprehensive document outlining high-level business requirements, focusing on the "what" rather than the "how" of a project.
? Functional Requirements Document (FRD): Document to provide detailed information on the specific functions a system or product should perform. It delves into the "how" of a project.
? Use Cases or User Stories: Use cases or user stories to describe system interactions from an end-user's perspective.
? Process Flow Diagrams: Diagrams to illustrate the flow of business processes, helping stakeholders understand the sequence of steps and interactions.
? Data Flow Diagrams (DFD): DFDs to show how data moves within a system, identifying inputs, processes, and outputs.
? Gap Analysis: A document that highlights the differences between the current state and the desired future state of a business process.
? User Manuals and Training Materials: Documents and materials to help end-users understand and use the system effectively.
? Change Request Documentation: If changes are needed during a project, BA will document and assess change requests.
? Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM): A matrix that links requirements to their sources and traces them throughout the project.
? Meeting Minutes and Reports: BA is expected to document meeting minutes and prepare reports to communicate progress, issues, and decisions.
Minimum / Required Qualifications:
Education/training:
? Successful completion of university education, in a relevant field such as information technology, business administration or related fields.
? Certifications PRINCE2 and ITIL are preferred
Work Experience:
? 5+ years of professional experience
Skills and languages
? Hands-on systems analysis/business requirements experience supporting Enterprise systems.
? Experience in collecting data and information and analyzing the project?s business requirements and translating technical requirements.
? Experience in preparing detailed functional and non-functional requirements specification documents and user documentation.
? Technical knowledge and demonstrated experience related to reporting tools, database structures / entity relationships, implementing third party vendor batch interfaces and web services integration.
? Experience with MS Office applications (incl. Microsoft Teams, SharePoint), MS Office, Power BI, Visio, Confluence, JIRA, Tableau or similar technologies.
? Experience with Cloud Computing is preferred.
? Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
? Proficiency in written and spoken English; working knowledge of another UN language would be an asset.
