Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Apps DBA with strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) to support enterprise-scale database platforms within a shared services environment.
The role involves hands-on database administration, performance tuning, replication, patching, upgrades, and cloud/data centre migrations, with exposure to AWS and OCI.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for enterprise Oracle database platforms, including Exadata, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate
Design, implement, troubleshoot, and tune Oracle GoldenGate replication across Oracle, AWS S3, Aurora, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
Perform Oracle database upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations (on-prem to cloud and data center migrations)
Support and administer Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2, including adop, dual file system, WebLogic, concurrent managers, PCP, and workflows
Monitor and optimize database performance using Oracle internals and tuning techniques
Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Pump, Import/Export
Automate operational tasks using UNIX/Shell/Perl scripting
Collaborate closely with senior DBAs, architects, and infrastructure teams
Support AWS (RDS, Aurora) and OCI Cloud database environments
Maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle Data Guard
Work in multi-node, multi-tier environments supporting mission-critical systems

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of experience administering Oracle databases in large enterprise environments
8+ years of experience with:

Oracle RAC
Exadata and ZFS infrastructure
UNIX/Linux administration and Shell scripting

5+ years of experience with:

Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and tuning
Exadata Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC)
Oracle partitioning and automation

Strong experience with:

Oracle RMAN, Data Pump, Import/Export
Oracle Data Guard implementation and maintenance
Oracle Database 11gR2 and 12c
Oracle ASM

Hands-on experience administering Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 with WebLogic
Experience with OCI Cloud and AWS (RDS, Aurora)
Experience with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)
Exposure to GoldenGate replication with:

SQL Server
PostgreSQL
MySQL

Strong understanding of database performance monitoring and tuning
Experience in data center migrations

Nice to Have

AWS and OCI certifications
Experience supporting hybrid cloud database architectures
Strong documentation and communication skills
