Summary

Role Descriptions: We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Veeva Technical Architect Veeva PromoMats to lead the architecture, design, implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise-scale Veeva Vault PromoMats solutions for global Life Sciences organizations.

This role requires deep expertise in Veeva Vault PromoMats, strong enterprise architecture capabilities, regulatory understanding within pharmaceuticalbiotech environments, and the ability to lead complex digital content and medicallegalregulatory (MLR) review ecosystems. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority across business stakeholders, delivery teams, validation teams, and integration partners.

The candidate must be comfortable operating in a client-facing environment, driving technical strategy, governing best practices, and delivering scalable, compliant, and high-performing PromoMats solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

Lead end-to-end architecture and technical solutioning for Veeva Vault PromoMats implementations, enhancements, migrations, and support initiatives.

Design scalable, compliant, and high-performance PromoMats solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Define enterprise architecture standards, integration strategies, governance frameworks, and implementation best practices.

Serve as the primary technical advisor for PromoMats capabilities including:

o Digital Asset Management (DAM)

o MLR Review Process

o Claims Management

o Content Lifecycle Management

o Modular Content

o Renditions and Distribution

o eTMFQuality integrations where applicable

Architect multi-country and global deployment strategies for promotional content management.

Veeva Vault Configuration & Development

Lead advanced configuration activities within Veeva Vault:

o Object model design

o Document lifecycle configuration

o Workflow configuration

o Security model setup

o Role-based access controls

o SDKAPI-based extensions

o Validation rules

o Notifications and automation

Provide architectural guidance for:

o Vault Java SDK

o REST APIs

o VQL

o Vault Loader

o Custom integrations

Evaluate technical limitations and propose scalable alternatives.

Integration Architecture

Architect and oversee integrations between Veeva PromoMats and enterprise systems including:

o Salesforce CRM

o Adobe Experience Manager

o Content Management Systems

o Regulatory systems

o Identity and Access Management tools

Design secure and scalable API integration frameworks.

Ensure robust data governance, synchronization, and audit readiness.

Compliance & Validation

Ensure all solutions comply with:

o GxP

o FDA regulations

o CSVCSA standards

o Pharmaceutical promotional review requirements

Support validation documentation and audit readiness activities.

Collaborate with QA and compliance teams during validation cycles.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

Partner with business stakeholders, MLR teams, regulatory affairs, marketing operations, and IT leadership to define strategic roadmaps.

Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and solution demonstrations.

Mentor developers, administrators, and junior architects.

Provide effort estimation, technical planning, risk mitigation, and delivery governance.

Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and architecture presentations when required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

15+ years of IT experience with at least 10+ years focused on Veeva Vault technologies.

7+ years of deep hands-on experience specifically with Veeva Vault PromoMats.

Strong expertise in:

o Veeva Vault architecture

o PromoMats implementation

o Vault configuration and customization

o DAM and MLR workflows

o Vault APIs and SDK

Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations.

Strong understanding of Life Sciences regulatory and compliance environments.

Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work onsite with cross-functional business and technical teams in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

Veeva Vault certifications (highly preferred).

Experience with:

o Veeva MedComms

o Veeva CRM

o Vault Quality

o Vault RIM

o Commercial content ecosystems

Experience with cloud platforms and middleware technologies.

Exposure to DevOps, CICD, automated deployment, and release governance for Vault environments.

Knowledge of AI-enabled content review or digital content operations is a plus.

Experience in large global pharmaceutical or biotech organizations.
