About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on exposure to Identity and Access Management (IAM) on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to define, document, and drive IAM-related requirements, governance, and process improvements across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for cloud IAM initiatives (access provisioning, role-based access control, SSO, MFA, privileged access management).
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, security, and compliance teams to translate business needs into technical specifications for Google Cloud Platform IAM or Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Support access review cycles, audit readiness, and IAM policy documentation (RACI, SOPs, access matrices).
• Analyze current IAM workflows and recommend improvements aligned with least-privilege and zero-trust principles.
• Create process flows, wireframes, and user stories for IAM tooling and automation projects.
• Liaise with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and support UAT for IAM-related features/integrations.
• Prepare status reports, risk logs, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support compliance requirements (SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2) as they relate to identity governance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in cloud/security/IT domains.
• Working knowledge of IAM concepts: roles, policies, service accounts (Google Cloud Platform) or Azure AD/Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC (Azure).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform IAM or Azure IAM/Entra ID tools and console.
• Strong requirement-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, JIRA/Confluence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
