Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Administer, configure, monitor, patch, upgrade, and migrate enterprise relational database environments.
- Manage database performance, backup and recovery, replication, high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot complex database and infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to database teams while collaborating with application, cloud, infrastructure, security, and engineering stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
8+ years of experience in enterprise database administration, including relational databases, cloud database platforms, performance management, backup/recovery, and production support.

- Experience supporting large-scale, highly available, regulated, or business-critical database environments.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, database automation, scripting, monitoring, migrations, and hybrid environments.
