Location: Fully remote anywhere in the US - EST/CST/MST preferred however
Employment Type: 6-months contract with high probability to extend or convert.
Role Overview:
This position supports and maintains a range of specified in-house managed applications. The role involves managing incident and problem investigation, monitoring system performance, reviewing new software and updates, troubleshooting issues, and managing security administration throughout the application lifecycle.
Ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience with the following: Nice to Have: Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science is required.
Job Description: - Lead technical projects; identify needs and steps to shepherd technical projects to completion
- Communicate to CDV Data Management leadership and team members about projects and requirements.
- Be the main point-of-contact between client IT and CDV Data Management.
- Develop and implement scripts/coding to support CDV DM team needs.
- Troubleshooting technical issues in cooperation with other CDV teams and CNC IT.
- Purpose of team is to support CDV's data needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic goals by implementing application support programs.
- Manage and coordinate complex application support processes.
- Advise on application security, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs.
- Prioritize, investigate, and diagnose incidents and problems.
- Assist with implementing remedies and preventative measures.
- Take technical responsibility across all stages of software development.
- Provide expert advice on tools, techniques, and processes for a robust integration framework.
- Plan the scope of configuration management processes and items.
- Lead the assessment, analysis, planning, and design of release packages, including risk assessment.
- Manage and monitor the compliance of security administration procedures.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $48.00 and $50.00 per hour. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.
