Summary

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and quality-conscious installation, maintenance, and modification of electrical systems related to terminal operations. The Electrical Field Supervisor is a working supervisor role, responsible for leading, directing, and supporting electrical personnel while actively participating in field work. This position ensures all work is executed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and the N.E.C. (National Electrical Code) while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a working supervisor, actively performing electrical work alongside electricians while providing real-time direction, oversight, and support.
Coordinate and supervise electrical field activities with limited oversight.
Schedule, plan, and assign personnel for maintenance, service, and troubleshooting, including emergency calls.
Provide daily field supervision ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Assign, direct, and review work; ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues (VFDs, motors, PLCs, generators, etc.).
Oversee calibration and preventive maintenance programs.
Plan, estimate, and oversee installations and system upgrades.
Interpret plans, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Monitor and manage field-level budgets.
Train and mentor electricians.
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Promote housekeeping and maintenance standards.
Maintain tools and equipment accountability.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain hands-on proficiency as a Commercial and Industrial Electrician.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of electrical experience; leadership experience preferred.
Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to lead personnel.
Willingness to stay current with N.E.C. updates.
Proficient computer skills.
Ability to obtain TWIC card.
Available for on-call rotation.
Valid driver's license.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Understanding of safety policies and procedures.
Ability and willingness to remain hands-on in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
2-year Electrical Technology degree, certificate or equivalent.
Apprenticeship program or technical school background is desirable
Knowledge of SAP

Environmental working conditions vary and employee may encounter vibration, noise, odors, and extremes in temperature and wind as well as exposure to varied weather, varied surfaces, sharp edges, varied lighting and confined and congested areas and occasionally exposure to petroleum-based products such as crude oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, oil, and grease and other petroleum products and chemicals.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, and maintain balance for extensive periods of time.
Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to above shoulder and horizontally and carry objects up to 100 feet. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks; climb (e.g., ladders and stairs, etc.), stretch, turn, twist, reach; bend, crouch, squat, kneel and stoop for extensive periods of time.
Ability to use a variety of light to heavy tools necessary to conduct plant operations.
Ability to operate crane and other equipment necessary for loading and unloading products.
Ability to operate all types of company vehicles
