May include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment.
? Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical
? Perform routine maintenance of systems based on machine PM requirements. Maintains an accurate record of all PM activities
? Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials
? Install, maintain, and troubleshoot, control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, and encoders
? PLC hardware; troubleshoot, CPU?s, backplanes, I/O modules, and Ethernet communication devices.
? Assist site Controls Engineer with daily troubleshooting, repair and upgrade tasks, such as:
o Ensuring all electrical and controls documentation is accurate and up to date
o Reviewing existing equipment and systems to propose upgrades and improvements.
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the distribution operations to determine the fundamental causes of equipment/operational issues to resolve quality and/or productivity issues.
o Identify and implement solutions to solve operational problems on equipment in support of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
o Perform PLC based troubleshooting with read only access to determine the cause of equipment shutdowns when the cause is not readily visible.
o Providing detailed technical training to the Maintenance team when repair procedures or troubleshooting steps are improved.
