Job Summary & Responsibilities The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting the build of complex semiconductor capital equipment. This role requires hands-on technical skills, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and experience working in a cleanroom or precision manufacturing environment.
Technicians at this level operate with moderate independence and are expected to support continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly & Build:
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly of semiconductor equipment and subassemblies
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions
- Support integration of major subsystems (motion stages, optics, EFEMs, electronics)
Test & Troubleshooting:
- Perform system-level calibration, functional testing an system verification
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
- Identify root causes and escalate issues appropriately
Quality & Documentation:
- Follow ISO and internal quality procedures
- Record build data, non-conformances, and test results accurately
- Ensure adherence to ESD, cleanliness, and safety standards
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
- Support Lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, standard work, error-proofing)
- Provide feedback on documentation gaps and design issues
Qualifications Education:
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
3-5 years' experience in the semiconductor or related industry in assembly and/or test role(s).

Compensation & Growth Base Salary Range:
$72,080.00 - $108,120.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
