Maintenance Supervisor

Full Time: 40 hours/week

Hourly: Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, overtime and on-call as necessary

Reports to: Property Manager

Levco is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a 264-unit property in Orlando, Florida. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the maintenance technician, completing work orders and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a safe working environment and keeping costs under control.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Prior experience with properties undertaking renovations, preferred.
  • Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to hire, lead and manage team members.
  • Strong HVAC skills and (installation and troubleshooting/repair).
  • EPA certification (required).
  • Plumbing skills.
  • Electrical skills.
  • General apartment maintenance skills (drywall, appliances, etc).
  • Demonstrate ability to perform tasks described without seeking outside contractor assistance.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly without assistance.
  • Valid driver's license (required).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site team members.
  • Assist with the development of capital improvement budgets.
  • Assist with the project management of capital improvements at the property level.
  • Ensure the highest quality customer service to residents.
  • Ensure quality of maintenance and turnover work.
  • Perform and supervise the completion of work orders.
  • Bid, schedule, and supervise contracted work.
  • Schedule, manage, and assist with apartment make-ready work.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance programs.
  • Complete thorough inspections of work performed at the properties.
  • Perform departmental Safety Inspections twice per week.
  • Any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor.
