Job Title: Network Architect
Location: Downtown Dallas, TX (Hybrid Onsite Interview Required)
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire W2
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Services Architect to lead the strategic architecture and engineering of enterprise network infrastructure in a highly regulated financial environment.
This role will oversee data center and cloud networking, firewalls, NetScaler (Citrix ADC), SIP/VoIP, and video conferencing platforms while ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve enterprise network architectures for data centers and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
- Define standards and best practices for network security, segmentation, and performance optimization
- Lead engineering efforts for firewalls (Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet)
- Architect and manage Citrix ADC (NetScaler) environments
- Oversee SIP trunking, VoIP, and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Crestron
- Manage annual budget and vendor contracts for Network Services
- Maintain network services roadmap and drive modernization initiatives
- Lead and mentor distributed MSP engineering teams (onshore/offshore)
- Monitor KPIs & SLAs for service providers
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management of infrastructure
- Drive automation and orchestration initiatives
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations
- Partner with cybersecurity and audit teams
- Provide executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- 10+ years in Network Engineering/Architecture (3+ years leadership experience)
- Experience managing distributed teams
- Strong expertise in:
- Data center & cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
- SIP & VoIP technologies
- Video conferencing solutions
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory compliance
- Experience with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Experience handling production incidents and change requests
- Documentation skills (Runbooks, RCA, Architecture Diagrams)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
