This is more Ping Fed, Unix LDAP, hardware, and OS management.
We are looking for an experienced Ping Platform Resource to support identity and access management initiatives. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in authentication services, secure platform administration, and application security within complex enterprise environments. The position focuses on configuring and maintaining Ping-related solutions, strengthening access controls, and supporting secure integrations across systems. Candidates should be comfortable working across security, infrastructure, and operational teams to deliver reliable identity services.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain authentication policies within the Ping environment to support secure user access.
Configure and manage platform connections and integration points to ensure dependable communication between identity services and business applications.
Build, update, and support adapter configurations for identity federation and service provider connectivity.
Administer data stores used by the platform, including ongoing maintenance, optimization, and access governance.
Develop and maintain custom scripting or coding solutions required to extend platform functionality and meet business needs.
Configure and support OAuth-based integrations and related identity protocols for secure application access.
Partner with infrastructure teams on Unix, operating system, and hardware-related activities that affect platform performance and availability.
Monitor platform security and operational health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve configuration problems in a timely manner.
Hands-on experience with Ping platform technologies, including federation, authentication, and secure access configuration.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to apply security policies within enterprise environments.
Experience supporting Unix-based systems, along with familiarity in operating system and hardware management considerations.
Knowledge of OAuth, identity federation concepts, adapters, and application integration practices.
Background working with SIEM tools and security monitoring processes.
Familiarity with application security standards and secure configuration approaches.
Comptia Security+ certification or comparable cybersecurity credential is preferred.
