Summary

Position Title: Data warehouse/Power BI Developer
Location: North Chesterfield, VA
Position Type: Onsite (Contract)
Interview Process: In Person Only

Key Responsibilities

Extensive work with medical data including HIPAA compliance requirements.
Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for efficient data retrieval and transformation.
Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses.
Apply dimensional modeling techniques to design and maintain scalable data models for analytics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions aligned with business objectives.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards when handling sensitive medical data.
Maintain clean code bases and releases using GIT and ADO Pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in BI development and data analytics.

Proficiency in:

Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning)
SSIS (ETL design and implementation)
Dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts
Understanding of Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Excel, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
