Summary

job summary:

We are seeking a senior Project Lead 3 to support a large-scale data engineering and AI adoption program within a complex enterprise environment. This role will lead delivery across data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence, and cloud initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data, analytics, and enterprise project management, along with strong leadership, communication, and execution skills. PMP certification is required. Must reside in Texas and be local to the Austin area (within 50 miles).

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead technical project delivery across data engineering, analytics, and cloud initiatives
  • Support AI/ML and advanced analytics programs within an enterprise environment
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Oversee data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing efforts
  • Track risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Provide status reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder communication
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Smartsheet
  • Ensure alignment between business, engineering, and AI stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, and reports




qualifications:

Qualifications:


- 10+ years of experience leading data, analytics, or cloud-based projects


- Strong experience with data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing


- Proven experience delivering business intelligence, big data, and analytics solutions


- Experience working in complex enterprise environments


- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies


- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet)


- Strong project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management experience


- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendors


- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive reporting


- Experience creating project documentation (plans, schedules, charters, reports)


- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and enterprise data systems


- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required


Preferred:


- Experience with healthcare data (FHIR, HL7, CCDA)


- Experience with AI/ML, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives


- Familiarity with SDLC, enterprise architecture, and data governance


- Cloud or architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, TOGAF)
