Healthcare Product Manager

Job Title: Product Manager - Healthcare
Location: Reston, VA
Compensation: $79/HR
Type: Contract to hire 
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid (2-4 times a month) 

Summary

Owns the end-to-end product lifecycle for healthcare technology solutions, including strategy, roadmap, delivery, and performance. Works cross-functionally with engineering, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven products that support claims analysis, audit workflows, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned to business goals
• Manage multiple products/initiatives simultaneously
• Translate requirements into features, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver and launch products
• Conduct market research and incorporate customer and industry insights
• Track product performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement
• Communicate updates and influence stakeholders, including senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in Product Management, Product Owner, or Business Analyst roles
• Strong experience with product lifecycle management and Agile environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• Healthcare or claims systems experience
• Exposure to data/ML-driven products (not deeply technical)
• Background as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
• SAFe or Product Management certifications
