Job#: 3021360 Job Description: Role: Fenergo CLM Consultant (Configuration & Techno-Functional)
Overview
We're seeking a
hands-on Fenergo CLM Consultant to lead configuration and delivery within a large, enterprise-scale
Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) transformation. You will translate complex onboarding, KYC/AML, and regulatory requirements into
configurable workflows, rules, UI models, and integrations on the Fenergo platform. This role is
onsite/hybrid for deep collaboration with product owners and business stakeholders during critical design and delivery phases, and it includes
knowledge-transfer to internal and offshore teams as the operating model scales.
This is a
consulting engagement requiring a practitioner who is equally comfortable gathering requirements with business SMEs and implementing those requirements in Fenergo-rapidly, iteratively, and with high quality. You will operate within an
Agile framework, provide clear estimations, and demo working configurations every sprint to drive adoption and accelerate time-to-value.
What You'll Do (High Impact Areas)
- Own end-to-end Fenergo configuration: Convert epics and user stories into platform configurations-workflows, data models, rules, UI components, and document templates-aligned to CLM outcomes (digital onboarding, customer due diligence, periodic refresh, reviews).
- Design resilient client journeys: Use Fenergo's modular capabilities (e.g., Flow Studio, External Adapters, Access Layers, Journey Launchpads) to model business processes with a focus on straight-through processing, exception handling, and auditability.
- Drive functional demos & adoption: Lead sprint demos for business stakeholders, gather structured feedback, and close the loop by updating user stories, rules, and UI to meet acceptance criteria.
- Guide integration patterns: Partner with API and data teams on upstream/downstream flows (KYC/AML providers, CRM, MDM/party data, document repositories). Support mapping, test data, and non-functional requirements (latency, retries, idempotency).
- Harden compliance outcomes: Ensure configurations and controls support regulatory obligations (e.g., CDD, EDD, FATCA, CRS) and institutional policy, with traceability from requirement rule evidence.
- Ship in sprints: Participate in standups, planning, grooming, and retros. Provide estimates, surface dependencies/risks early, and maintain a predictable delivery cadence.
- Quality & SDLC discipline: Author configuration design docs, mapping specs, and test cases; support unit/integration testing; assist with release readiness, deployment activities, and post-deployment validation.
- Scale knowledge: Create playbooks, standards, and reusable patterns; mentor internal and offshore teammates to raise overall platform velocity and consistency.
Day-to-Day (What Work Actually Looks Like)
- Refining user stories with product owners and compliance partners; aligning acceptance criteria to measurable outcomes (e.g., onboarding cycle time, pass-rate of automated checks).
- Configuring Fenergo workflows and UI models for specific client journeys (e.g., onboarding for entity types, refresh triggers, remediation flows).
- Implementing rules and validations to reflect KYC/AML policies; maintaining version-controlled configuration with clear documentation.
- Collaborating with API teams to test integrations (REST/JSON/XML), reviewing response contracts, error handling, and retries.
- Preparing sprint demos that show business value (end-to-end flow), gathering feedback, and translating it into actionable configuration updates.
- Supporting non-prod environments for SIT/UAT; triaging defects; working with QA on test data, boundary cases, and regression coverage.
- Contributing to release notes, change requests, and KT artifacts for broader enablement across onshore/offshore teams.
Required Background (What We'll Look For)
- Fenergo CLM Platform: 3-4+ years hands-on configuration and customization across modules (onboarding, KYC/AML, outreach, document management, periodic review).
- Core Fenergo Components: 1-2+ years with Flow Studio, External Adapters, Access Layers, Journey Launchpads-and a practical understanding of how these interact across the CLM ecosystem.
- API & Integration Experience: 3+ years with RESTful patterns; ability to read/author specs and collaborate with engineers on Spring Boot (or equivalent) implementations; fluency in JSON/YAML/XML.
- Software Engineering & SDLC: 3+ years working through full lifecycle (requirements technical design build test deploy), with strong version control and modularization discipline.
- Business/Regulatory Acumen: Ability to map onboarding, KYC/AML policy, and operational workflows into configurable rules and journeys; comfort discussing CDD/EDD concepts with compliance.
- Agile Delivery: 2+ years collaborating in Agile/Scrum, providing estimates, managing dependencies, and delivering increments reliably each sprint.
- Problem Solving: Strong diagnostics across configuration, data, and integration boundaries; capable of breaking down complex flows into testable units.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Familiarity with KYC/AML frameworks (CDD, EDD, FATCA, CRS) and evidence/audit expectations.
- Experience with DevOps toolchains (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), work management (Jira/Confluence), and basic scripting for utilities (JavaScript for UI logic, simple XML transforms).
- Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL) for data mapping, lookups, and validation.
- Exposure to non-functional design (performance, resiliency patterns, timeouts/retries, idempotency) in integration-heavy platforms.
