Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Sales Representative to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Meriden, CT. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, supporting order management, quoting, customer communications, and sales support while working closely with production, planning, engineering, quality, and shipping teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Process customer purchase orders, order changes, and schedule updates.
  • Prepare and distribute quotations for products and services.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and lead times with production planning.
  • Monitor open orders and provide proactive status updates.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, delivery, product specifications, and quality concerns.
  • Maintain customer information within ERP and CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Production, and Shipping teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Assist with forecasting customer demand and identifying sales growth opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings, audits, and business reviews as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service, inside sales, or account management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, QAD, or similar.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace customer requirements is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Experience

  • Supporting aerospace OEMs and Tier One suppliers.
  • Purchase orders, long-term agreements, and contract administration.
  • Manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and supply chain operations.
  • Quoting and pricing activities.

Compensation

  • $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
  • Competitive pay based on experience
