Position – Mainframe Developer (8-12 Years)

Location - Berkeley Heights, NJ/Alpharetta, GA - Onsite

Summary:
Technical Lead with strong experience delivering core banking mainframe applications supporting customer accounts, balances, and transaction processing. Proven ability to lead teams in regulated financial environments.

Key Skills:
COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, DB2, Mainframe Banking Systems

Responsibilities:

Lead development and support of core banking applications on the mainframe.
Design and enhance online and batch programs using COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and DB2.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, audit controls, and data integrity standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and support high-availability systems.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience Required:

8+ years of mainframe development in banking or financial services.
Strong understanding of transaction processing and batch cycles.
Experience working in regulated environments.
