Position Overview
We are seeking a Google Cloud Platform-certified Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage the build and deployment of high-availability clusters in Alpharetta, GA. This role focuses on automating infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes while ensuring seamless CI/CD pipeline integration. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform environments and a strong background in monitoring system health via Datadog or AppDynamics.

Key Responsibilities

* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and configure non-prod and prod clusters using Terraform and Kubernetes (GKE).
* Environment Management: Setup Web Servers, App Servers, Nginx, and Database environments on Google Cloud Platform.
* CI/CD Automation: Enhance and automate build/deployment processes utilizing Jenkins pipelines.
* Data Migration Collaboration: Partner with Cassandra, Elasticsearch (ELS), and Oracle teams for complex data migrations.
* Infrastructure Configuration: Configure storage, logs, firewalls, and network ports in coordination with infrastructure teams.
* Performance Monitoring: Track system health and performance using Datadog, Application Insights, and AppDynamics.

Required Qualifications

* Certification: **Google Cloud Platform Certification is mandatory.**
* Cloud/DevOps Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), and Jenkins.
* Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of SQL, Web Server/Nginx configuration, and scripting.
* Systems Knowledge: Experience with Elasticsearch, Cassandra, or Oracle migrations.
* Education: BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
