Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine new food product formulations based on customer specifications and manufacturing capabilities
  • Create bench samples and support iterative product development activities
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead plant trials and first production runs
  • Partner directly with customers regarding product expectations, feedback, and commercialization timelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, QA, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
  • Manage specification documentation and formulation updates
  • Support ingredient change controls and raw material approvals
  • Coordinate shipment of samples, finished goods, and raw materials as needed
  • Provide technical expertise related to food science, ingredients, and manufacturing processes
  • Support multiple manufacturing facilities on product development initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, or related field required
  • 5+ years of food product development or food science experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ingredient interactions, formulations, and commercialization processes
  • Experience supporting plant trials and scaling products from bench to production
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality systems
  • HACCP training preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in both office/lab and manufacturing environments
  • Valid driver's license required
