Summary

DataOps Engineer

Introduction:

This position is for an experienced DataOps Engineer who will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing enterprise data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DataOps, ETL/ELT, data engineering, and experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform data services.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows
  • Implement CI/CD for data pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
  • Data quality, monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Automate deployments, configuration, and data operations
  • Work closely with Data Engineering, DevOps, Analytics, and business teams

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in DataOps, ETL/ELT, and data engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, and scripting
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform data services

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
