Job Description
The Technical Support Representative will provide specialized technical support for the Google Cloud AI/ML portfolio and associated high-priority technical domains. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving complex cloud technical issues, handling critical customer cases, supporting frontline teams, and improving overall product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support, including diagnostic troubleshooting, case resolution, and tracking of complex Cloud technical customer support queries.
- Serve as a primary escalation point for high-priority (P1) cases, providing rapid diagnostic intervention and resolution.
- Handle technical consultations and provide upskilling/support to frontline teams to reduce escalations and recurring technical issues.
- Work through operational backlogs, manage bug fixes, and drive resolutions to improve overall product reliability.
- Provide technical engineering support for regulated workloads, ensuring adherence to personnel certification, data security, and government compliance requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Must be physically located within the continental U.S. while accessing client systems/data.
- Must already hold at least one advanced Google Cloud Platform certification:
- Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Google Professional Data Engineer
- Must obtain Google ACE certification within 5 weeks of onboarding, before nesting/live queues.
- Must be willing to accept the contract-to-hire employment offer.
- Must be willing to relocate and work at least 4 days per week onsite on a 24x7 shift rotation.
