Summary

Role overview

The BAU Delivery Coordinator is a critical role within Investment Operations Technology, responsible for first-line triage, incident management, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement of day-to-day delivery of services to the front office and investment operations team. The ideal candidate brings strong domain expertise in investment operations combined with hands-on technical skills to drive effective issue resolution and team performance.

Key responsibilities:

•            Provide first-line techno-functional triage for BAU issues, leveraging domain and technology expertise to diagnose problems, determine ownership, and coordinate resolution with functional and technical stakeholders.

•            Own end-to-end issue resolution, driving timely closure of open items and enforcing accountability to meet BAU SLA commitments.

•            Lead end-to-end incident management during US business hours for critical operations and business support issues, such as  cash breaks, security master exceptions, data discrepancies, client reporting discrepancies, and application/system outages.

•            Provide clear and timely stakeholder updates, manage escalations, and act as liaison with dependent technology teams to ensure alignment with Investment Ops Tech/Ops Managers.

•            Lead daily end-of-day standups to review progress, surface blockers, and set priorities for the following day.

•            Collaborate with Development Delivery Coordinators to maintain a pipeline of tasks assignable to the BAU team during downtime.

•            Enforce accurate JIRA ticket creation with mandatory fields and maintain compliance with workflow standards daily.

•            Continuously review, prioritize, and allocate BAU backlog tasks — including JIRA grooming and ad hoc analysis on enterprise projects — to optimize team throughput and reduce bottlenecks.

•            Maintain and deliver performance dashboards, track KPIs, and provide actionable weekly insights to leadership to support informed decision-making.

•            Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across BAU delivery operations.

•            Create and maintain post-incident knowledge artifacts capturing root causes, resolutions, and preventive actions; publish findings to a centralized KEDB for reuse across BAU teams.

•            Deep functional understanding of at least two Investment Operations disciplines: Data Management, Investment Accounting, Performance, Fund Treasury, or Client Reporting.

•            Strong Oracle/SQL skills; ability to drive effective issue analysis and resolution through direct data investigation

•            Experience with Eagle Platform or similar platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

•            6–8 years of experience on project teams in the capital markets domain, ideally within a buy-side organization.

•            Strong understanding of asset management operations workflows, including account structures, product hierarchies, and performance measurement.

•            Experience working with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, APIs)

•            Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively under time pressure.

•            Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; comfortable managing escalations and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

•            Proven ability to work effectively in team-oriented, fast-paced environments.
