Job Title: Database Administrator 3

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in legacy systems and Software AG technologies. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise database environments while collaborating with technical teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support database environments using Software AG tools and related technologies
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, test, implement, and perform quality assurance for information systems
- Maintain and optimize database performance, reliability, and data integrity
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and policies
- Provide input on system architecture and modernization efforts
- Support integration and data exchange across multiple systems and platforms
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution for system and data-related problems
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Software AG products, including:
- ADABAS, Natural, Natural One, Predict, Construct
- ADABAS Replication, Treehouse tcVision
- WebMethods EntireX, CONNX SQL Gateway
- ApplinX, Natural AJAX
- 10+ years of experience in system analysis, design, testing, and implementation using:
- Natural One, ADABAS, MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM
- Linux/zLinux, UNIX, Informix, Espsoft/SCL
- 3+ years of experience in system architecture and documentation of processes and procedures
- 2+ years of experience with human services domains such as SNAP, TANF, eligibility, or related programs
- Strong understanding of system integration, data management, and legacy system environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira and KACE ITSM tools
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Experience in legacy system modernization initiatives
- Knowledge of child welfare systems and related regulatory requirements
