Summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Acrobat for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week onsite.

Join the Acrobat Product Marketing team on a contract basis for 6 months. As a skilled marketer, you have a deep appreciation for the customer, are highly data-driven, and are proficient across marketing frameworks, channels, and tactics. You're able to ramp quickly and operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with particular strength in driving go-to-market execution, which you'll apply toward partnerships and integrations that bring core Acrobat functionality into the places where users already work with documents. You bring a structured approach to developing deep customer and user journey insights that build strategy and execution, and you excel at building relationships and establishing credibility across diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth by identifying marketing opportunities, defining a cohesive strategy, and implementing successful, measurable programs across both core Acrobat features and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for Acrobat partnerships and integrations, and own adoption/usage strategy post-launch, identifying and addressing friction points to strengthen ecosystem funnels.
  • Lead key partnership initiatives and product feature launches in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product, and Analytics teams.
  • Partner with research and insights teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and user journeys; translate findings into clear recommendations for growth, including opportunities to extend Acrobat's reach through partnerships and integrations.
  • Develop compelling value proposition messaging to convince prospects to try, buy, and adopt our software, including messaging tailored to partnership and integration touchpoints.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable marketing initiatives in partnership with cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Report on financial impacts, growth levers, and dashboards across core product and partnership performance.


Required Skills:
  • Expertise in product marketing with a focus on consumer and/or small business segments; experience with partnerships, integrations, or platform ecosystems a plus.
  • Excellent ability to frame issues, conduct appropriate analyses, and make clear, impactful recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in digesting market research and product usage metrics then using insights to advise decisions.
  • Demonstrates a test-and-learn and growth mentality.
  • Ability to ramp quickly and operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Global cultural awareness and experience working with international teams.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams to drive impactful business initiatives; collaborative work style.
  • Outstanding analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding program management skills.
  • BS/BA preferred OR equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of marketing experience; technology company and SaaS experience preferred.
