Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Nashville, TN.

Duties:
* Architect cloud-based MDM solutions, primarily in Profisee, with the ability to evaluate and integrate multi-cloud platforms like Snowflake as needed
* Design scalable, enterprise-grade data architectures by collaborating with cross-functional internal and external teams to acquire, transform, validate, master and deliver data from disparate sources, enhancing data accuracy, accessibility, and strategic value
* Further develops and refines data architecture strategy, aligning MDM architecture with enterprise data architecture goals by partnering with business stakeholders and IT leadership to modernize data-centric systems and enable data-driven decision-making at scale
* Lead the development of scalable MDM solutions supporting key domains such as Patient, Provider, Location, Product, Payer, and Reference Data
* Architect data models, hierarchies, survivorship rules, and match/merge strategies within Profisee
* Develop and maintain canonical data models and standardized data definitions across enterprise systems
* Collaborate with data governance teams to establish frameworks and policies for master data lifecycle management including onboarding, stewardship, change management, auditing, data quality, cataloging and metadata management
* Design high-performance data distribution patterns to ensure mastered data is consistently synchronized across downstream systems
* Provide hands-on leadership of Profisee expertise for implementation teams including data engineers, analysts and data stewards
* Architects secure and compliant data systems, including structures, pipelines, and infrastructure, ensuring regulatory alignment (e.g., HIPAA), eliminating redundancy, improving data flow, and increasing overall data quality

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Science, Informatics, Business or other related degree required; Master's degree preferred
* 10+ years of enterprise data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, migration, modeling, integration, warehousing, ETL/OLAP tools, quality and cloud solutions required, in a Healthcare or Healthcare-adjacent industry
* Minimum 6 years of experience in MDM design and implementation
* Experience designing and implementing data integration pipelines using ETL/ELT tools, event-driven and API-based integrations
* Experienced operating both strategically and tactically within enterprise data architecture initiatives
* Experience designing and migrating enterprise data solutions, including on-prem MS SQL EDWs or AWS-based data lakes and warehouses to Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake
* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), with hands-on use of Profisee, Snowflake, ETL, serverless (Lambda, Step Functions), and cloud-native tools (Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, Airflow-MWAA)
* Strong understanding of data governance principles including stewardship workflows, data ownership models, and quality controls
* Strong expertise configuring Profisee entities, modeling, business rules, match/merge logic, and survivorship strategies
* Proficient in data architecture and engineering, including Master Data Management implementation patterns, data integration, big data solutions, and handling high-volume, high-velocity data sets
* Ability to translate business domain requirements into scalable master data models

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
